Indian Physiotherapy Council (IPC) is the peak body representing the interests of Indian physiotherapists and their patients. The IPC is a national organisation with non-autonomous state and territory branches and specialty subgroups. IPC corporate structure is one of a company limited by guarantee. The organisation has more than 3 000 members and over 300 members in volunteer positions on committees or working parties. The IPC is governed by a Board of Directors elected by representatives of all stakeholder groups within the Association. IPC is committed to the concept of continuing professional education. The IPC offers members advanced training and the possibility of collegial support from physiotherapists working in a similar area through its 14 national groups.

IPA’s purpose is to advance the profession of physiotherapy in order to improve the health of Indians.
